If you’ve ever wanted to visit Orlando, now is the time! The summer season isn’t over yet, but there is still lots of fun to be had in the hot Florida sun. Everything is a little less crowded, but everyone still has lots of energy and the excitement of summer vacation has not died down yet. It is incredibly easy to rent a vacation home or holiday home in Orlando or Kissimmee for a week. But of course you could stay a couple days or a whole month! There is no wrong way to vacation and there is surely no time limit on how many days you spend in Florida. And with a vacation rental, it is easy, affordable, and convenient. You can often rent an entire house for the same price as a hotel room. You might not think that it is possible, but there are so many different rentals for you to choose from at amazing nightly prices.
Staying a week is a great idea because it allows you to get acclimated and get a little bit of a routine. Plus staying in an Orlando vacation house allows you to get a real feel for the city and the neighborhood. Staying in a hotel can be so sterile that you don’t really get the full experience. Orlando is a great city to vacation in because it is so tourist friendly, and there are so many amazing attractions for you to visit. A week is hardly enough to experience it all, but it’s more than enough time to have a complete blast at the best restaurants, shopping malls, theme and attraction parks, beaches, pools, spas, clubs… the list goes on and on when you start talking about what Orlando has to offer. So a week would be enough time to experience a lot that there is in Orlando. Of course that’s not to say that you couldn’t stay longer. At the prices you’ll find with holiday homes and even luxury villas you could spend the entire summer in Florida.
If you do decide to stay for a week with family or friends, I would highly recommend visiting a couple of the theme parks in Orlando. I love the Magic Kingdom and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. There are also amazing beaches just a short drive from most vacation rentals by owner and holiday homes. I would definitely recommend spending a day in a beach town enjoying the surf and some great beach food. If you are more of a homebody, then I would stay in a vacation rental that is located within a resort community. You can spend time in your own holiday rental and then enjoy a host of amenities and perks within your own gated community. There are countless things to do all in the comfort of the resort community. There are pools, spas, clubhouses and athletic facilities like tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. Some of these communities even have their own cafes, restaurants, and movie theatres!
